Horrific Crime in Egypt Father Torments His Children with Fire Killing One and Injuring the Other

Khaberni - In a tragic incident, a father stripped of his humanity turned his modest home in Atfih center, Giza governorate, into a torture chamber for his two young children. Using fire and a kitchen knife to "discipline" them, he caused the death of his three-year-old daughter and left her brother with various cuts and burns across his body.

The tragedy began with ordinary marital disputes between the spouses, which quickly escalated to a separation. The mother left the home in anger, leaving her young children in their father's care, thinking they were safe. However, she was unknowingly leaving them in the hands of torment.
In the mother's absence, the father lost his temper due to the little girl crying and wetting herself. He grabbed the kitchen knife and lit it on fire before using it to brand the little girl's body in various places, claiming he was "disciplining her". Her screams did not deter him, and he continued to torture her mercilessly until she fell unconscious, dying minutes later in his arms.

In a desperate attempt to escape the consequences of his crime, the father took his daughter's body to a hospital and left it there lifeless, before fleeing, thinking he would escape punishment.

However, police investigations revealed even harsher details, as it turned out that the father had inflicted the same violence on his young son, using the knife and fire in the same manner and for the same reasons—crying and urination. Medical reports confirmed that the boy's body bore signs of both old and recent burns, indicating repeated incidents of torture in the home, and he miraculously survived a fate similar to his sister's.
After hours of searching, security forces managed to apprehend the suspect, who confessed to his crime and justified his horrific act by saying he was "disciplining his children".

The father was referred to the public prosecution, which began its investigation into the incident, describing it as one of the most heinous family crimes in Giza.
