The average response time for medical incidents was (7:36) minutes, for rescue tasks (7:34) minutes, and for firefighting incidents (7:35) minutes. The Civil Defense crews worked on providing humanitarian and medical services to the injured and transferring them to hospitals, in addition to controlling limited fires and dealing with various incidents within their jurisdiction.
