The Foreign Ministry extends the submission for the Diplomatic Attachés Competition and sets the end date

Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs announced the continuation of submissions for the general competition to select diplomatic attachés, according to a set of specified conditions and criteria, until the 18th of November.
The ministry stated in a press release that among the most prominent conditions for applying to the competition is that the applicant must be Jordanian, hold at least a first university degree (bachelor's) from a university recognized by the official authorities in the kingdom, with a Grade Point Average not less than "Good".
In addition, the ministry added, the academic qualification must be in any of the following fields: law, political science, economics, business administration, public administration, administrative sciences, strategic planning, strategic studies, policy studies, refugee and migration studies, crisis management, or any related disciplines.
It was noted that applicants must be proficient in both Arabic and English and must submit a certificate no older than two years, proving their English proficiency, through one of the following exams: TOEFL computer-based with a score of no less than (74), or IELTS with a score of no less than (6), or the English language examination at the Language Center of the University of Jordan with a percentage not less than 75%.
The ministry clarified that the age of the applicant must not exceed (25) years for first university degree (bachelor) holders or equivalent, and (29) years for holders of master's or doctoral degrees, and that the conditions of appointment stipulated in the effective Public Sector Human Resource Management regulation must be met.
It was explained that applicants meeting the conditions will undergo a series of written tests according to a specific timetable, followed by a personal interview for the qualified candidates, and the successful candidates will be chosen according to the competition results ranking.
The ministry announced that submissions are exclusively done via the online platform (https://jordandiplomats.gov.jo) during the period from October 5th to November 18th, emphasizing that no applications that do not meet the conditions will be considered after the specified period.
Applicants are invited to upload the required documents through the platform, which include: a CV, a valid non-conviction certificate, certified copies of the academic qualifications and transcripts, an equivalence certificate (for non-Jordanian university graduates), a certified copy of the personal ID, one of the required English proficiency certificates, and a recent passport-sized photo.
