Tragic End for Britains Famous Mafia Figure and Shock in His Bank Account

Khaberni - The British streets witnessed the tragic details surrounding the death of one of the most notorious former gangsters, Dave Courtney, 64, who ended his life by suicide in his southeast London home, after a long battle with illness and chronic pain.

According to the "Daily Mail," Courtney was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head. The coroner, Dr. Julian Morris, confirmed after an official investigation that the death was a result of suicide, with no criminal suspicions involved.

Dave Courtney became one of the most controversial figures in the 1990s Britain after claiming links to the "Kray" criminal gang that dominated London in the 1960s. In his later years, Courtney distanced himself from the criminal world and turned to writing and publishing, where he released books that discussed his autobiography and experiences in prison, and life among gangs.

The shock, according to the same sources, came after official documents issued by the High Court in London showed that Courtney left no money to his wife or daughters. The estate management letter stated that the total value of his possessions in the United Kingdom amounted to zero.
Although his famous house, known as "Camelot Castle," was sold in July 2024 for 500,000 British pounds, the documents indicate that the sale proceeds were used to settle debts and legal expenses.

Donated His Fortune
Reports claimed that Courtney had instructed before his death that up to 10% of his possessions be donated to charities, including the organization "Comprehensive Integration for Autism," which supports individuals with autism.

Police investigations revealed that Courtney left a series of recorded video clips before his death, in which he talked about his struggle with rheumatoid arthritis and chronic pain. In one of the clips, he said, "I hide so much pain... I no longer enjoy life as I used to, and I don’t want to let it go to waste after such a wonderful life I have lived," and in another clip released hours before his suicide, he addressed a farewell message to his loved ones saying: "There are people who will grieve... I didn't mean to hurt anyone."
