USA An officer brutally assaults a woman of African descent Video

Khaberni - The state of Florida witnessed a controversial incident after a shocking video spread on social media, showing a police officer violently assaulting a woman of African descent as she was waiting for her son in front of a school.

According to the British newspaper "The Mirror", the incident occurred in front of a school, where Erica Magriff (39 years old) had parked her car in an unauthorized spot and left it running while waiting for her daughter. While the officer was trying to stop her for violating parking rules, the situation quickly escalated into a violent altercation, captured by bystanders' cameras.

The video shows the officer grabbing the woman's arm harshly while trying to restrain her, as she screamed, "You're hurting me!" When she tried to break free, the officer violently threw her to the ground, where she began to hit him with her hands before he pulled her by her hair and choked her on the ground amid the screams of children and passersby.

The incident resulted in the application of the new "Halo Law" for the first time, which took effect at the beginning of January 2025, and stipulates that individuals must maintain a distance of about 25 feet from police officers while they are performing their duties.

During the incident, two women from the crowd, Anita Gibson (59 years old) and Jasmine Jefferson (36 years old), were arrested after being charged with violating the law, using offensive language against the police officer, and not maintaining a distance from the arrest site.
