Settlers Attack Olive Pickers in Several Villages South of Nablus

Khaberni - Settlers, on Friday morning, attacked olive pickers in the villages of Qabalan and Qusra south of Nablus, while the Israeli occupation army attacked Palestinians in the village of Aqraba and prevented them from harvesting olives.

Palestinian sources reported that a number of settlers attacked olive pickers in the towns of Qusra and Qabalan south of Nablus.

The sources added that occupation soldiers stormed the entrance of Aqraba south of Nablus, fired sound bombs and poisonous gas at the olive pickers, and prevented them from completing the harvest.

Villages in the Nablus governorate are subject to frequent settler and occupation army attacks, which hampers olive harvesting operations on their lands.

During the annual olive-picking season, Palestinian lands suffer repeated assaults by settlers and the occupation army, with farmers facing ongoing attacks and violations that prevent them from accessing their lands, causing significant material losses and increasing their daily suffering under the weight of occupation.

Since October 7, 2023, settlers have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their properties, resulting in the death of 33 Palestinians in the West Bank.

The attacks by the occupation and its settlers have also resulted in the uprooting, destruction, and damage of a total of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Anti-Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
