Khaberni - In the context of follow-up and coordination with the relevant authorities aiming to overcome obstacles and enhance the efficiency of services provided to travelers, the Minister of Transport Nidal Al-Qatamin met today with the chairman and the executive director of the international airport group.
During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing cooperation between the group and the Ministry of Transport, where the minister listened to a presentation from the group about their aspirations and plans for the coming years, which align with the airport expansion plans, and the group's procedures for improving service quality, enhancing performance, and investing in airport infrastructure, service plans for existing investments, and their expansion and development, in order to keep pace with future projects and enhance the sustainability of growth in the air transport sector.
The minister emphasized the importance of continuing to develop investments to enhance operational and administrative efficiency, achieving a positive financial and economic impact for the kingdom and the transport sector alike.
During the meeting, the minister directed a number of notes and instructions related to following up on the implementation of plans and projects and evaluating performance, to ensure continued productive cooperation between the ministry and the group in serving the air transport sector and enhancing the airport's status as a distinguished regional hub.
