Khaberni - A security source in the Ministry of Interior for the "SANA" agency reported that the internal security forces have successfully arrested Namir Al-Assad along with several members of a criminal gang, during a tight security operation conducted in the town of Qardaha in the Latakia countryside.
The source clarified that Namir Al-Assad is considered one of the most prominent drug dealers and involved in several crimes during the previous regime, pointing out that the operation was carried out by one of the special task management teams of the Internal Security Administration, through a well-executed ambush that successfully resulted in his arrest.
The source confirmed that "this step reflects the commitment of the internal security forces to pursue the remnants of the former regime, combat crime, and achieve justice."
