The relationship began last February, and they went public in spring, attending various social events and personal trips, before recently realizing that the relationship was not progressing normally and that friendship would be better for them.
A source close to the couple told "The Sun" that Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas had a fun time together, but they came to the conclusion that the romantic relationship had ended, confirming that they will remain friends.
The source added that the romantic spark between them had faded, yet they respect the relationship and maintain mutual affection, which helped them make the decision to separate maturely.
Despite the separation, Ana will continue to work with Cruise, as she has been chosen to participate in his upcoming film titled "Deeper", which has temporarily stopped filming, and they plan another project tentatively named "Pressure".
In recent months, the couple appeared together at public events, including attending concerts and traveling to Spain on a yacht, in addition to attending David Beckham's 50th birthday party in London.
