The Jordan Kuwait Bank sponsors The Avenue project a pioneering initiative by the Princess Taghreed Institute for Development a

Khaberni - Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Taghreed Mohammed, and in the presence of Her Excellency Professor Wafa Bani Mustafa, the Minister of Social Development representing Her Highness, the Princess Taghreed Institute for Development and Training (PTI) launched its new pioneering project “The Avenue” in the presence of the CEO of the Jordan Kuwait Bank, Mr. Haitham Al-Batayekh, and the Director-General of the Institute, Dr. Agadir Jouihan.

The “The Avenue” project forms part of a series of pioneering projects by the Princess Taghreed Institute for Development and Training, aimed at supporting Jordanian designers and creatives by providing a dedicated space to showcase their work and highlight their talents in the finest way, reflecting the spirit of local creativity and Jordanian cultural identity within a modern framework combining culture, art, and community.

In this context, Mr. Haitham Al-Batayekh, the CEO of the Jordan Kuwait Bank, commented, "We are proud of our ongoing partnership with the Princess Taghreed Institute for Development and Training, which reflects the bank’s firm commitment to supporting developmental and social projects that aim to empower individuals and communities. The Avenue project embodies a shared vision based on empowering young Jordanian talents and showcasing their creativity, aligned with the bank’s strategy to enhance sustainable development and support the local economy."

For her part, Her Excellency Ms. Wafa Bani Mustafa expressed her pride in this project, which reflects the partnership between the public and private sectors, affirming that supporting such initiatives enhances job opportunities and local production and contributes to the development of communities and the empowerment of youth and women across various provinces.

During the opening, Dr. Agadir Jouihan emphasized that “The Avenue” embodies the vision of the Princess Taghreed Institute in empowering Jordanian women and supporting creative entrepreneurship, noting that the project serves as an interactive platform allowing independent designers, artisans, and craft associations the opportunity to reach a broader audience and promote their work both locally and internationally.

The opening was concluded with a tour through the corridors of “The Avenue”, which houses a curated collection of distinctive local brands in the fields of design, handicrafts, fashion, and creative products, serving as a destination that inspires visitors and celebrates the beauty of Jordanian crafts and the distinction of its creators.
