A global report on loneliness and social ties indicates that the Jordanian people are among the least lonely populations globally, while the social bonds in Jordanian society are among the strongest in the world.
The report, monitored by Khaberni and measuring the number of single-person households as a percentage of total households, recorded a figure of 4.35% in Jordan.
In the report, Jordan ranks in the first tier of countries (less than 10%) that include a single-member household, with a lower percentage than Egypt (6.48%), Sudan (5.06%), South Sudan (4.33%), and higher than Yemen (1.87%), while no data was available on other Arab countries in the report.
