Khaberni - A Palestinian security source in Gaza reported that the "Deterrent" force, affiliated with the Gaza resistance security, continues to implement a comprehensive security operation in all areas of the sector to target those involved in cooperation with the occupation and all who cover up for them.
The Palestinian Press Agency (Safa) reported on Wednesday from the unnamed source that "this operation is part of the ongoing effort of the Deterrent force to cleanse the internal front and protect the security of its people and its resistance."
He stressed that "this is the last chance to correct the course and present the available information, and after that, there will be no escape from the strict grip of justice that will reach every traitor and cover." as he put it.
The Palestinian factions have praised the security campaign carried out by the Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip, for "regulating and enforcing the law and pursuing the outlaws, spies, mercenaries, thieves, highwaymen, and collaborators with the occupation throughout the sector."
The factions confirmed, in a statement on Wednesday, that "the campaign enjoys full support and a national Palestinian consensus and from all factions, supported by the resistance security in order to restore security and stability, and pursue the mercenary gangs, crime dens, and tails of the occupation."
A security source stated on Tuesday that the "Deterrent" force carried out a precise operation in the center of Gaza City, resulting in the neutralization of several wanted and outlaws.
Palestinian news websites and platforms reported on Monday that the resistance executed several described as collaborators of the occupation and outlaws in Gaza City, and arrested several of them.
"Deterrent" is a special field force announced by the Gaza Strip resistance security in late June 2025, aimed at combating chaos and pursuing thieves, highwaymen, spies, and those involved in ethical and security crimes.
The force carries out direct operations within a comprehensive strategy to eliminate negative phenomena and enhance internal security in the sector. The post-establishment phase saw a significant escalation in its actions, including field executions and special operations against elements suspected of collaborating with the Israeli occupation.
