Khaberni - Israeli Minister of War Yisrael Katz announced on Wednesday evening that he had directed the army to prepare a comprehensive plan to defeat the resistance in Gaza in the event the war resumes.
Israeli observers view these statements as additional pressure on "Hamas" to agree to hand over the remains of deceased hostages and disarm the movement.
The office of the Israeli Minister of War stated in the announcement, "During a discussion held today with the Chief of Staff and the leadership of the Israeli army regarding the army's preparations in Gaza, the Minister of War issued directives to prepare a plan to completely defeat Hamas in Gaza if it refuses to execute President Trump's plan and is forced to resume fighting."
The statement added: "As part of Trump’s plan, Hamas must return all hostages it holds and disarm, while Israel, in cooperation with an international force led by the United States, will work to destroy all tunnels and infrastructure in Gaza to ensure the disarmament of Gaza of any threat to the occupying entity."
The statement confirmed that if Hamas refuses to comply with the agreement, "Israel will resume fighting in coordination with the United States and work to completely defeat it, changing the reality in Gaza, and achieving all war objectives."
Earlier today, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of "Hamas", said: "The resistance has complied with what was agreed upon, and has delivered all the living prisoners and bodies it could access in its possession. The remaining bodies require significant efforts and special equipment to search for and extract, and we are making a significant effort to close this file."
Hamas says it is having difficulty identifying locations and exhuming the remaining bodies.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that dozens of Turkish experts will arrive in Gaza to assist in exhuming the bodies.
An agreement was made to establish an international mechanism to assist in locating bodies and extracting them.
Hamas says it refuses to disarm, yet it is willing to hand over some weapons to a Palestinian or Arab authority.
The issue of disarmament is among the thorny issues that parties must deal with in the coming period.
President Donald Trump stated yesterday that "Hamas" must disarm quickly or "this issue will be dealt with, even if by force."
