Khaberni - The Governor of Irbid, Radwan Al-Atoum, inspected today, Wednesday, the sewage project in the town of Al-Mughayyir, alongside the Secretary-General of the Water Authority Sofian Al-Qudah, and a number of directors from the executive council in the governorate.
During a field tour attended by the President of Irbid Municipal Committee, Emad Al-Azzam, the Director of Irbid Public Works, Engineer Maan Al-Rabadi, the Director of Irbid Antiquities, Ziad Ghneimat, and the project manager, Engineer Abdulfattah Al-Muhaisiri, Al-Atoum reviewed the actual implementation of the sewage network in the town.
The Governor told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that it was decided to alter some of the network's routes to avoid causing cracks in houses, as digging next to them might lead to issues, and the digging operation was moved from the right side of the road to the left at more than two different sites.
Al-Atoum added that one of the houses, which showed some wall cracks, was inspected, and an agreement was reached with the homeowner by the Secretary-General of the Water Authority to study how to reinforce the house with concrete and pillars at the expense of the Water Authority.
He further stated that the President of Greater Irbid Municipality committed to making a decision within the next two days to change the digging order on some subsidiary roads; because their route is incorrect, as the road passes through some private properties.
Al-Atoum confirmed that the Director of Irbid Public Works committed to accelerating the paving of the main road of the town after obtaining the results of the technical examination of the "base course" operations within the next two days, and the contractor was urged to expedite the paving process for all roads ready for paving during the upcoming period, indicating that the administrative governance will follow up the project implementation weekly and will work to solve any obstacles or challenges it faces as quickly as possible.
