Khaberni - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Syria needs to rebuild its infrastructure, confirming that Russia is capable of providing support in this area.
Novak added that Moscow and Damascus have agreed to hold a meeting of the joint international governmental committee in the near future.
He mentioned that the issues of humanitarian supplies to Syria were discussed during the talks held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Ahmed al-Shar'a at the Kremlin.
Novak also explained that the two sides discussed cooperation in various fields, including tourism, noting that Damascus is interested in obtaining Russian wheat and medicines.
