Khaberni - The Traffic Directorate announced a plan for road closures and traffic diversions in the capital Amman, next Friday, coinciding with the start of the Amman Promen Marathon.

The closures will be as follows:
The road extending from the Station Complex, passing through Al-Jaysh Street in both directions, Al-Hashemiyyah Square, Quraish Street, Ali bin Abi Talib Street, up to the Muhajireen signals, passing through Omar Matar Street and King Talal Street and Al-Hashemi Street, will be closed from twelve midnight until twelve noon, as part of the 42 km (individual/relay) and 21 km race routes.
Closure of Queen Alia Street between the Sport City Circle and the Interior Circle completely, starting at 6 AM, in addition to Queen Noor Street between the Interior Circle and the Fourth Circle, starting at 7 AM,
The closures will also include the entire Aqaba bin Nafi Street and Princess Basma Street, from 7 AM until twelve noon, as part of the 10 km race starting at 9 AM.
The Traffic Directorate confirms the implementation of all traffic measures to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and provide alternative routes that facilitate access to downtown and the western areas of Amman, noting that its personnel will be spread along the race routes to offer assistance and guidance to road users, and to ensure compliance with traffic signals and instructions.
