The Guarantee The health insurance file represents a financial challenge due to its high cost

Khaberni - Jadallah Al-Khlaileh, the Director-General of the Social Security Corporation, discussed several issues concerning retirees and ways to enhance mutual cooperation with the president and members of the administrative board of the Jordanian Association for Social Security Retirees.

The meeting's discussions included a number of vital issues, the most prominent of which were increasing the minimum retirement salaries to match living costs, health insurance for social security retirees, providing scholarships for retirees' children, extending the period for repaying purchase installments, as well as activating institutional partnership in social initiatives aimed at retirees.

Al-Khlaileh emphasized the corporation's commitment to openness and continuous communication with the association, listening to its demands and suggestions based on a dialogue grounded in public interest and current legislation, explaining that the corporation operates through long-term strategic planning to extend its financial commitments and guarantee its ability to meet them, while also playing an effective economic and social role at the national level.

Regarding health insurance, he clarified that the file represents a financial challenge due to its high cost, as the government is currently working towards providing comprehensive health insurance that the corporation seeks to integrate with to ensure the provision of integrated health services for retirees.

Al-Khlaileh pointed out that the corporation's role is not limited to just disbursing salaries, but also includes expanding the scope of social protection and contributing to national development. The relationship with retirees continues post-retirement through offering exclusive services to them and maintaining constant contact.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Al-Khlaileh emphasized the importance of involving the association in all related events and activities, as the corporation's vision focuses on providing quality service to its subscribers and retirees, achieving the satisfaction of service recipients in accordance with the values and principles of the corporation.

The meeting was attended by the association's president, attorney Fawaz Al-Batayneh, and members of the administrative board, Dr. Fareed Al-Tawalbeh, Dr. Khaled Artimah, and Majed Al-Lawansah, along with a number of assistants and department managers from the corporation.
