Khaberni - Within the framework of ongoing cooperation between Amman Arab University and educational institutions, and stemming from the commitment of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the university to enhance its role in serving the community and developing educational competencies, the college, in cooperation with Jassarah National Academy nursery and schools, organized a specialized training workshop titled "How to Prepare Action Research", presented by Dr. Bassam Ghanem and Dr. Mohammad Karamneh, faculty members of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
The workshop aimed to enable teachers to utilize action research and its applications in the classroom environment, and to develop their skills in preparing and implementing research projects based on effective classroom practices. Additionally, the lecturers discussed the concept, importance, benefits, and implementation steps of action research, alongside mechanisms for writing the research plan and related statistical analyses. The workshop also featured active participation from the teachers through an open discussion session that enriched the workshop’s content, during which they provided constructive feedback and participated in training activities and practical applications, expressing their interest in employing action research as a tool to improve teaching methods and enhance students’ academic achievement.
At the conclusion of the event, Mr. Maen Al-Qaisi, the General Manager of Jassarah National Academy, commended the workshop content and the lecturers’ proficiency, appreciating the pioneering role of Amman Arab University in serving the local community, and its commitment to transferring academic and practical expertise to the educational field, thereby enhancing the quality of education and developing the educational process.
