Orange Jordan Khaberni - organizes a local event for the biggest Hedera Hackathon for Web 3.0 technologies in partnership with Orange Africa and the Middle East, Swiss non-profit Hashgraph Association, and Exponential Science Foundation, Blockchain Home, which was implemented via the Orange Digital Center to empower innovators and endow them with advanced skills in blockchain and Web 3 technologies, in line with the increasing global demand for these skills.
The Hedera Hackathon 2025 forms a global platform for developing decentralized applications in various areas, from digital finance to healthcare, agriculture, artificial intelligence, and interactive gaming, with total monetary prizes reaching one million dollars distributed among the best projects, in addition to one million US dollars in additional committed investment by United Gulf Financial Services, the leader in venture capital in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Through this local program, Orange Jordan attracted young men and women from programmers, students, and innovative entrepreneurs to develop digital solutions based on the Hedera network. The participants joined a free training session to obtain a certified certificate, after which they implemented their ideas using this advanced technology. Participants will also benefit from a workshop featuring sessions on technical and entrepreneurial mentoring provided by local and international experts, aimed at enhancing their skills and opening new horizons for innovation.
The areas in which participants innovate include developing solutions in Sequential Finance and Real-World Assets (“Onchain Finance & Real-World Assets”), in addition to using DLT technology in operations such as: healthcare, agriculture, supply chains, and innovating applications in the field of artificial intelligence and physical decentralized infrastructure (AI & DePIN), as well as interactive experiences that included gaming, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and virtual worlds.
