Khaberni - The El Agouza Prosecution ordered the summoning of the Egyptian media figure Amr Adib for investigation into the complaints presented against him by Mortada Mansour, the former chairman of Zamalek Club, in which he is accused of "insult, defamation, slander, and tarnishing reputation".

According to local media, the El Agouza Prosecution is currently investigating the complaints filed by Mortada Mansour, which also included accusations of Amr Adib offending him during one of his show episodes, using phrases he considered "an excess against him and damaging to his reputation".

The El Agouza Prosecution is currently conducting investigations to review the content of the episode subject to the complaint and to hear the statements of the parties involved in the case, in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions based on the findings of the investigations.

The old disputes erupted between the two when Amr Adib accused the former chairman of Zamalek Club of being "behind the complaints, which led to the withdrawal of the club's land in 6th of October City, which had been designated for building a new branch".

This issue caused the collapse of the club’s budget, which primarily relied on the construction of the branch on that land, according to him, and Amr Adib said then: "Mortada Mansour is an idea that must die", a controversial statement he made in his program "El Hekaya", causing widespread debate.
