Khaberni - BeFootball reported that French striker Karim Benzema, captain of the Saudi Union, is strongly sought in the Turkish league.
Quoting its Turkish counterpart Fotomaç, Fenerbahçe club is aiming to sign the former Real Madrid striker during the upcoming winter transfer period.
He said, "The Turkish club is doing everything it can to convince the French star."
He continued, "Fenerbahçe, a giant of the Turkish league, is ready to let go of John Duran, a former player of the Saudi Al-Nassr, who did not meet the team's expectations."
Recently, Benzema's name has been linked with Benfica club, where media reports confirmed that coach Jose Mourinho had made a call to the French scorer, informing him of his desire to add him to the Portuguese giant.
