Khaberni - Press reports revealed that Charlotte Trippier, wife of England and Newcastle United star Kieran Trippier, who is estranged from him, was subjected to a terrifying robbery attempt when thieves tried to break into her luxurious home valued at two million pounds in Cheshire, northwest England.
According to "The Sun" newspaper, the attackers used a vehicle to crash into the electronic gate of the house, then tried to force it open using metal tools.
A close source reported that Charlotte (36 years old) was in a state of extreme panic after the break-in attempt, and said: "She felt a shiver in her body immediately upon hearing the impact. She feared the worst, as it was clear that the thieves were trying to forcefully smash the gate and enter the house."
The source noted that the police had earlier this year warned residents of the area about a series of similar robberies, which made Charlotte constantly tense and reinforce her home’s security system fearing that she might be targeted for a pre-planned monitoring operation.
Cheshire police confirmed that they are investigating the "suspicious" activity that occurred at Charlotte's house, adding that they are reviewing surveillance cameras of the neighbors in search of any clues that may reveal the identity of those involved.
A police spokesperson said: "We received a report about suspicious activity at one of the homes and began an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident."
It is noted that Charlotte married Trippier in 2016, but they separated last year and are in the process of divorce, with three children between them.
The separation occurred after photos of Trippier with a blonde lady named Frankie Carmichael were circulated last May, after which Charlotte moved to a new home a month later, confirming via Instagram to her 35,000 followers that she was "fine" and "living a stable life after the separation."
