Khaberni - His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, praised the depth of Jordanian-British relations during two separate meetings in London, Tuesday, with the Speaker of the British House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle, and the Chair of the International Development Committee in the House, Sarah Champion.

During the meetings, His Highness expressed his pride in the level of cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, and educational fields, emphasizing his keenness to expand it into technological areas.

Speaking about the region, His Highness the Crown Prince emphasized the need to intensify efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, appreciating the United Kingdom's recognition of the Palestinian state.

His Highness emphasized the need to ensure the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza at all its stages, noting that the current priority should be to facilitate the entry of aid given the critical humanitarian situation.

His Highness the Crown Prince stressed the need to support and empower the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which he described as a lifeline for Palestinians.

The meetings were attended by the Jordanian Ambassador to London, Manar Al-Dabbas, and the Director of His Highness the Crown Prince's Office, Dr. Zaid Al-Baqaeen.
