Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the specialized diving teams in the Al-Balqa Civil Defense Directorate dealt this evening with a tragic drowning incident involving three sibling children (two boys and a girl), aged seven, five, and three years old inside the King Abdullah Canal in Deir Alla area.
The spokesperson indicated that the report was received by the operations room, and the specialized diving teams immediately moved to the location and were able to find the three children in the waters of the canal.
The spokesperson clarified that the children were retrieved, the necessary first aid was provided to them at the site, and then the ambulance teams immediately transported them to Princess Iman Government Hospital. They had unfortunately passed away, may God have mercy on them all. An investigation into the incident has been opened.
