The General Security Directorate, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, launched the "Little Policeman" course in a number of schools across all provinces of the kingdom, continuing its approach to focus on young age groups in elementary schools, and its commitment to enhancing security awareness and instilling positive behaviors in students from a young age.
The course, which lasts for two weeks, aims to intellectually and behaviorally immunize children through comprehensive educational and training programs that address important issues such as traffic safety, first aid, environmental awareness, discipline and order in pedestrian movements, the dangers of electronic games, general safety, and cyberbullying.
The course also includes field trips to the General Security museums in Azraq and Aqaba, to acquaint students with the history of the General Security agency and its national role in protecting people and safeguarding national achievements.
The General Security Directorate affirmed that this course is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the concept of community policing, and to build bridges of trust and cooperation with younger generations, to make them active partners in spreading values of commitment, discipline, and human security in the society.
