Khaberni - The Traffic Directorate in the General Security Directorate confirmed that all screens inside the vehicles are not considered a violation in themselves, whether they are original from the country of origin or installed later.
The administration explained that using these screens by the front seat passengers to display film materials or entertainment videos is considered a violating behavior and is punishable by law, due to the resulting distraction of the driver and loss of focus on the road.
It clarified that Article (34) of the Traffic Law states that "the driver who is proven to have committed the violation of using television screens inside the vehicle in such a way that allows him to see them while driving is fined an amount of (50) dinars".
