Khaberni - The Jordanian / American basketball coach Maz Trakh arrived in the Jordanian capital, just before moving to Baghdad to coach the Iraqi basketball team.
Maz Trakh was received by "Adel Shreim" who was the manager of the "Fast Link" (Zain) team when Maz Trakh coached it.
Maz Trakh is expected to be present at the anticipated derby match between Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat on Tuesday evening, before departing the following day to Iraq.
The provisional body of the Iraqi Basketball Federation announced the appointment of Maz Trakh as the coach for the national first basketball team, just before the start of their journey in the World Cup qualifiers.
Maz Trakh (Maz, short for Mazen) previously coached the "Fast Link" team in Jordan and achieved significant accomplishments, especially the 2006 Asia Championship, led Al-Wehdat to its first titles in the basketball league, and coached the Jordanian national team for a short period, then coached in Lebanon and Bahrain, in addition to his many experiences in the United States.
