Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Jordan Valley Authority stated today Tuesday that all tests on Mujib Dam water confirmed that it is within the standard and there is no pollution in the dam lake. Water samples were taken by laboratories from the Jordan Valley Authority, the Royal Scientific Society, and the Ministry of Environment, which confirmed their results that there is no pollution in the dam lake and the sample results are within the natural standards over several days.
All biological indicators, monitored by the Jordan Valley Authority staff in coordination with the Ministry of Environment, indicate that there is no sign of pollution presence in the dam lake.
Reports confirmed the observation of quantities of fish moving naturally in the dam lake, indicating no pollution in the dam lake. All tributaries feeding Mujib Dam lake were inspected, and no phenomena or signs of any pollutants were found.
