At the beginning of this month, OpenAI announced the integration of some applications into "ChatGPT", including "Spotify" and "Canva", making it possible to use these applications through the "ChatGPT" interface. The company plans to integrate more applications in the future.
Also at the beginning of this month, OpenAI launched the "Apps SDK" package that allows developers to create specialized AI applications that operate within ChatGPT, putting the company in direct competition with "Apple's App Store" and "Google Play" from "Google", according to a report by the "mint" technology news website.
Meanwhile, OpenAI already has an AI agent in ChatGPT, capable of taking independent actions on behalf of users, such as browsing websites, interacting with interfaces, and extracting information.
OpenAI is currently working on adding a direct messaging feature to ChatGPT, allowing users to interact with each other similar to how they interact on social media platforms.
This feature was discovered by Tibor Blaho, Chief Engineer at "AIPRM.com". And "AIPRM" is a command management tool and command library that helps users perform various tasks and provides ready-to-use commands in ChatGPT.
Blaho indicates that the direct messaging feature in "ChatGPT" exists in the beta version of the app for Android, nicknamed "Calpico" and "Calpico Rooms".
It is said that this feature resembles the direct messaging feature available from OpenAI on the "Sora" app for iPhones.
This feature will allow users to use "ChatGPT" together for brainstorming, joint planning, asking questions, researching, and creating images and chatting together. Meanwhile, no one in the conversation will be able to access another user's personal ChatGPT memory to ensure privacy.
Meanwhile, there may also be an option for invitation links to allow other users to join group chats.
