The company unveiled the first mass-produced active liquid cooling system that combines advanced water cooling and superior air cooling solutions.
This new technology is not just a passive "Vapor Chamber," but an active liquid cooling system akin to what’s used in gaming PCs and high-performance artificial intelligence servers, according to a report published by "gsmarena" and reviewed by "Alarabiya Business".
The system operates on the principle of circulating coolant through a pump over hot spots in the phone, then directing the heat to a fan and radiator to expel it from the device.
Micron-sized piezoelectric pump
"Red Magic" faced a challenge integrating this powerful cooling system within a slim phone body.
The solution was to develop a precise ceramic piezoelectric pump, which is the heart of the system.
The pump required thousands of design trials to balance the efficiency of liquid circulation and ensure it fits within the small size of the phone.
The company used laser cutting technology at the micron level to carve internal channels carrying the liquid, with channel films designed to ensure smooth, low-resistance flow.
The coolant used is antifreeze (based on fluorinated liquid), featuring excellent electrical insulation properties and superior heat transfer. It is the same type used in artificial intelligence servers and can operate effectively at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.
The company also focused on durability, applying an ultra-low temperature bonding process and new puncture-resistant films to ensure the phone can withstand tens of thousands of drop tests.

This revolutionary water-cooling system will be introduced for the first time in the upcoming Red Magic 11 Pro series, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
This technology, integrated with the dual-path cooling system, unleashes maximum processor power to ensure a sustainable high-performance gaming experience.
The company boasts the 11 Pro phones can run "Wuthering Waves" game at 90 frames per second (fps) for up to 120 minutes on ultra graphics settings, affirming outstanding stability and performance.
The device also supports over 200 popular games optimized to run at 2K resolution and 144Hz frame rate.
Turbo Fan 4.0 water-resistant at IPX8
The new features also include the Turbo Fan 4.0 system, which is a distinctive trade mark of the company, mixing three main air cooling approaches.
The active fan inside reaches a speed of 24,000 revolutions per minute (rpm), and it has been combined with a large air flow channel and a dual-path heat dissipation system covering the CPU, including a 4D Vapor Chamber heat exchanger.
Engineers at "Red Magic" have successfully made the Turbo Fan 4.0 system the first active cooling system in a smartphone to achieve an IPX8 rating for immersion resistance.
