Khaberni - Petra University has achieved a new milestone by entering the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for the first time, ranking within the 801-1000 category, noting that the total number of universities worldwide is approximately 33,000, and only 2,191 universities have managed to enter this ranking.
This ranking came as a result of the university meeting stringent criteria including the quality of scientific research, academic reputation, partnerships with the industrial sector, and the international standards criterion.
Petra University expressed pride in this accomplishment which reflects the honest and authentic academic and research practices adopted by the university, affirming that it views global rankings as a tool to develop institutional performance and improve the quality of educational outcomes, not as an end goal.
The university affirmed that this achievement is the product of established practices within the academic and research environment of the university, and that this ranking position encourages the university to continue improving all the standards adopted by the ranking with the aim of enhancing academic and research performance, as well as the university's relations with other global universities and its relationship with the industry.
