Khaberni - In compliance with the Royal Directives for economic modernization and enhancing Jordan's status, and stemming from the International Islamic Arab Bank's commitment to its social responsibilities in the fields of energy, transport, finance, and economic legislation, the bank recently sponsored the fourth economic forum titled "National Economic Solidarity - Reality and Ambition" under the patronage of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al-Safadi, organized by Jasmine Foundation and with the participation of a number of ministers, economists, specialized businessmen, and in the presence of Dr. Mohsen Abu Awad, the Head of Business and Investment Sector at the bank, along with various economic leaders and local experts.
The forum highlighted the key national economic issues and reviewed the areas of integration between sectors, contributing to the enhancement of the Jordanian vision towards national economic integration and the vision of the Social Security Corporation, Greater Amman Municipality, Jordan Post, infrastructure, logistics, and digital transformation and its impact on the national economy.
The organizers of the forum expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the bank's support and sponsorship, and its diligent follow-up of these blessed forums and conferences that contribute to supporting the national economy and cementing Jordan’s status as a promising regional center in the fields of energy, transport, and infrastructure. At the end of the celebration, the event's patron, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al-Safadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, presented a commemorative shield to Dr. Mohsen Abu Awad, Head of Business and Investment Sector at the International Islamic Arab Bank, in appreciation of the bank's sponsorship and support for the forum.
The bank also participated with a special pavilion in the exhibition during the forum to introduce the bank’s services and products that comply with Islamic Sharia law.
