Khaberni - Fayza Lamari, the mother of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé, has revealed details about her son's personal life, confirming that the tranquility he feels on the pitch is completely absent in his everyday life.
In a conversation with Le Parisien, she said: "On the pitch, Mbappé feels more comfortable than in regular life. Off the field, he has no life; his fame has become a massive barrier, no longer able to walk the streets like ordinary people. This greatly saddens me."
Fayza explains sadly: "I spoke with him last year when he was going through a tough time. I asked him if he was thinking about a romantic relationship, and he said to me: 'Do you see a woman who can handle this mess?' Sometimes he drives his car around Paris just to feel a temporary sense of freedom."
Mbappé had previously spoken about the dark side of wealth and fame, saying: "The more money you have, the more problems you get. Some do not realize how much your life changes with that."
It is worth noting that Mbappé is ranked second on the list of the world's most expensive football players according to the Transfermarkt website, with his market value estimated at about 180 million euros, having joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.
