Khaberni - Shocking videos have swept social media in Turkey, capturing the moment popular singer Yuksel Kadir (aged 47) died after suffering a sudden heart attack while singing at a relative's wedding in Gemlik, Bursa province.
Kadir was attending the wedding to share in the joy of the bride and groom, and he went on stage to perform a song as a "beautiful gesture" for the family, before suddenly collapsing to the astonishment of the attendees.
The guests quickly provided first aid until the arrival of emergency services, which rushed him to Gemlik State Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts.
The widely circulated clips show the moment the artist fell to the ground during his performance, while authorities have opened an investigation into the incident that has left his fans and colleagues in the artistic community deeply saddened.
