Khaberni - The total value of payment transactions executed through the "E-Fawateercom" system since the beginning of the current year 2025 has risen to 11.57 billion dinars, with the number of executed transactions reaching 55.19 million transactions, according to a report issued by the Jordanian Payment Systems and Clearing Company (JoPACC).

The report for September showed an increase in the number of system users over the past three months, with the number of users in September reaching 4.9 million users, an increase of 0.9% compared to 4.85 million users in August, and 4.81 million users in July.

The report indicated that out of the total number of users, which is 4.9 million, there are 4.85 million current users, accounting for 99.1%, and 46.6 thousand new users, accounting for 0.9%.

The number of billers through the system reached 652 billers, while the number of available services reached 2,245 services.

The system recorded during September 6.45 million transactions, a decrease of 2.8% compared to August, which recorded 6.64 million transactions, compared to 6.58 million transactions in July.

The category of telecommunications topped the list of transactions with 2.01 million transactions, followed by water and electricity with 1.78 million transactions, then government services with 1.28 million transactions, and wallet companies and payment service providers with 566 thousand transactions, followed by finance and financial services with 307 thousand transactions, then education with 247 thousand transactions, and transport and travel with 59 thousand transactions, and trade and services with 46 thousand transactions, and unions and organizations with 34 thousand transactions, and finally gas and energy with 33 thousand transactions.

The report showed that digital payments accounted for the largest share of the number of transactions during September, with 5.24 million transactions amounting to 81.3%, compared to 1.21 million cash transactions amounting to 18.7%.

The total value of transactions via "E-Fawateercom" during September rose to 1.4 billion dinars, an increase of 9.4% compared to August, which recorded 1.28 billion dinars, while it reached 1.4 billion dinars in July.

Government services led the payments in terms of value during August, reaching 758 million dinars, followed by wallet companies and payment service providers with 309 million dinars, then education with 96 million dinars, followed by water and electricity with 91 million dinars, then finance and financial services with 51 million dinars, followed by telecommunications with 33 million dinars, then banks with 17 million dinars, then gas and energy with 14 million dinars, followed by trade and services with 14 million dinars, and finally transport and travel with 6 million dinars.

As for the payment method, the value of digital payments during September amounted to 1.09 billion dinars, accounting for 77.7%, compared to 311.4 million dinars for cash payments, accounting for 22.3%.

The report noted an increase in the average value of a single transaction via "E-Fawateercom" in September to 217 dinars, compared to 192 dinars in August, and 212 dinars in July.
