Khaberni - The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, issued a statement announcing that it has decided to release a group of living Israeli prisoners as part of what it called "#Operation_Al-Aqsa_Flood" prisoner exchange.

In the statements by the Al-Qassam Brigades, it was mentioned that what was achieved is "a result of the perseverance of our people and the steadfastness of its resistance" and that the movement is committed to the agreement and the associated timelines as long as the occupation adheres to them. The statement added that the resistance had sought to stop what it described as "the genocide war" since its inception, and accused the occupation of "procrastination" and that its military attempts had failed to safely recover the prisoners.
The statement addressed the prisoners by saying, "Gaza and its resistance have offered the dearest of what they possess to break your chains, and your cause will remain at the top of the national priorities until you all gain your freedom."
