Khaberni - The "Webook" platform blocked about 3700 tickets for the match between the Saudi and Iraqi national teams, after they were circulated in the black market on Sunday, before the anticipated meeting between the two teams on Tuesday, within the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup finals.
The Saudi national team will play against its Iraqi counterpart on Tuesday at the Inmaa Stadium in Jeddah, within the competitions of the second round of the playoff, where both have three points from their wins against the Indonesian team.
The platform's statement, which is the official accredited body for ticket sales, stated: Webook, the official accredited body for selling tickets for the Saudi vs Iraq match, announced its detection and blocking of approximately 3700 tickets, which are the suspicious tickets that were circulated in the black market.
The platform confirmed that its advanced technical system relies on an integrated electronic system that ensures the protection of tickets from copying or illicit trading, thus contributing to preserving the rights of fans and ensuring the validity of purchase operations.
The tickets were reissued for sale after being withdrawn from the black market, according to the account of the Saudi national team's fan council on the "X" social media platform.
