Khaberni - A Royal Decree has been issued to accept the resignation of Dr. Ruwaida Al-Muayyata from the presidency of the Board of Trustees of Yarmouk University, effective from the date of 9/10/2025.
Al-Muayyata voluntarily and ethically submitted her resignation from the trustees of Yarmouk a few days ago, after the appointment of her niece's husband as the President of the University.
It should be noted that Al-Muayyata has previously held prominent ministerial and academic positions including:
-President of the Hashemite University.
-2011-2012 Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
-2005 Minister of State for Government Performance Monitoring
-2002-2003 Minister of Social Development
-Member of the Senate.
-Vice-President and Secretary General of the National Council for Family Affairs.
-General Manager of King Abdullah Founder Hospital.
