Khaberni - Jordan won two gold awards at the official participants' awards ceremony organized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) during the Expo 2025 Osaka, for the categories of pavilion content development and sustainability for medium-sized pavilions (Category B).
Jordan is the only country to win two gold awards in this edition of the exhibition, reflecting its excellence in sustainable design, innovation, and rich cultural content which embodies a contemporary vision of Jordanian identity.
The Commissioner General of the Jordan Pavilion, Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat, stated that this achievement is a national pride reflecting the efforts of the team and the creativity of Jordanian youth, highlighting that the Jordan Pavilion succeeded in delivering a unique experience that combines national identity, environmental innovation, and sustainability.
Arabiyat said that the victory "represents a real achievement for Jordan and is a culmination of a comprehensive team effort from state institutions and the Tourism Promotion Authority, with direct support from His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II."
He added that Jordan has once again proven its ability to compete and innovate at international forums, despite participating in the category of medium-sized pavilions. "We dedicate this victory to every Jordanian who is proud of their homeland and its global achievements."
The official participants' awards are given in recognition of excellence in fields of architecture, design, content development, and sustainability. The Jordanian pavilion distinguished itself from others by its innovative integration of Jordan’s rich history and a futuristic vision through sustainable design and interactive media that highlight the beauty of Jordan’s natural environment and its cultural diversity.
Jordan's win of the two gold awards came after strong competition with more than 165 participating countries at the exhibition, reinforcing its status as a distinguished tourist and cultural destination internationally.
It is noted that Jordan’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka represents a strategic opportunity to enhance its global presence and promote its tourist and investment sites, in line with the kingdom’s vision of openness, innovation, and sustainability.
