Khaberni - The Board of Directors of the Zakat Fund, during its meeting on Sunday, chaired by the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Muhammad Al-Khalaileh, approved a series of important financial and administrative decisions.
The board agreed to issue a new batch for deserving debtors based on the principles and conditions of the debtor’s program, and approved the restoration and maintenance of a number of homes in various regions of the kingdom after conducting the necessary studies.
The board reviewed the financial status of the fund as of September 30, 2025, and decided to launch two new initiatives: the "My Brother, Strengthen My Back 10" initiative to renovate homes of honorable families in Irbid Governorate in cooperation with local Zakat committees, and the "We Live Together" initiative in Koura District in cooperation with committees affiliated with the district.
The board examined the progress of the fund's work and its committees spread throughout the kingdom and discussed the success of the productive projects provided to poor and needy families, which contributed to moving families from receiving aid to self-reliance.
