Khaberni - Hussam Al-Astal, a militia leader fighting Hamas in the Khan Yunis area, said his forces will continue fighting the movement despite the ceasefire in Gaza.
According to the "Times of Israel", Al-Astal added, "We will fight Hamas until it is eradicated, we are here and we won't move." He continued, "If Hamas were truly present, and had any power, you wouldn’t see their members in civilian clothes and masks," referring to footage of returning elements to the streets published by Hamas media in recent days.
Al-Astal said, "They are scared. Only 5 or 10 of them gathered in one place and filmed themselves, just to show that they still exist. Why? Because they are finished and they know it." In a video sent to journalists, Al-Astal confirmed that the rumors spread by Hamas about the killing of the militia members fighting against them are false.
Al-Astal urged the people of Gaza to defy Hamas, saying, "There will not be a second Hamas."
