Initiative Manage Your Schools Money by Capital Bank Launches for the Second Consecutive Year to Enhance Financial Culture in

Khaberni - After its success in its first year, Capital Bank announced the launch of the "Manage Your Schools Money" initiative for the second consecutive year, as a pioneering step aimed at making financial culture more accessible to various segments of the Jordanian society, through organizing awareness events in several schools in the capital Amman.

This initiative reflects Capital Bank’s commitment to consider financial culture one of the fundamental pillars of its corporate social responsibility strategy, in line with the efforts of the Central Bank of Jordan aimed at enhancing awareness of the importance of financial management in building a stable and prosperous society.

Tulin Barto, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, confirmed that financial wellbeing forms the basis for building a cohesive and prosperous society, explaining that the "Manage Your Schools Money" initiative came as a pioneering step to empower students with the knowledge and tools that help them make informed financial decisions contributing to building a better future.

She added that the goal of the initiative is not only to simplify financial concepts but also to make them practical and applicable, through opening open dialogues about daily financial issues that concern different societal categories, which enhances youth awareness, as we have noticed interest from both schools and students in gaining knowledge related to this field, thus we are committed to sustaining this initiative to expand the base of beneficiaries from the skills it provides.

The initiative has an exciting interactive nature, where it consists of three main rounds; it starts with two rounds of rapid questions that enable students to collect the highest number of points. Afterward, the top scorers qualify to participate in a Jeopardy game that tests their knowledge in five basic financial topics, which are: earning, spending, borrowing, investing, and protecting. The winning team will have the chance to participate in a training program provided by Capital Bank, to learn about the various essential aspects of a career path in the banking sector.

By launching the second edition of this initiative, Capital Bank reinforces its commitment to achieving the goals of its community responsibility strategy where financial culture is one of the main axes in its strategy aimed at enhancing financial culture and providing new generations with practical ways to achieve their personal and communal aspirations, within a broader system of initiatives led by the bank in this field, including its collaboration with the "Edraak" platform and the Money Matters event.
