Khaberni - Eagle Hills Montenegro, a subsidiary of Eagle Hills, announced today the signing of a cooperation agreement with local partners in the city of Ulcinj to establish a new company named Eagle Hills Eco Village Shas, which will undertake the development of a world-class environmental tourist destination in Montenegro.
This agreement represents an important step towards achieving the vision of “Eco Village Shas,” a sustainable tourism project that combines hospitality with nature and cultural heritage. The project will include environmentally friendly accommodation units, concepts of wellness and longevity tourism, as well as recreational activities that reflect the authenticity of the Montenegrin experience, while preserving the unique natural environment of the Shas area in Ulcinj.
On this occasion, Mr. Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills, said:
“The Eco Village Shas project embodies our deep commitment to supporting the growth of Montenegro as a leading tourist destination in the Mediterranean basin. By combining international expertise with strong local partnerships, we aim to deliver a sustainable project that celebrates the natural beauty of Ulcinj and provides long-term economic value to the local community.”
Besides its tourist potential, the “Eco Village Shas” project will serve as a model for conscious environmental development in the region. Through protecting the biodiversity of Lake Shas and preserving the cultural heritage known as the “Balkan Atlantis,” the project seeks to enhance Montenegro's global standing as a destination that conserves nature and history together, contributing to the local economy by creating job opportunities, establishing partnerships with local companies, and opening new prospects for the residents of Ulcinj
