Khaberni - This Sunday morning marked the first day of the official university term for Jordanian students, resulting in traffic congestion at the entrances of the capital, Amman, and several other provinces.

The Traffic Directorate urged citizens to be cautious and to plan their movements ahead of time, expecting active traffic flow during the morning hours due to the overlap of university schedules with employee and school student commutes.

The Traffic Directorate confirmed that traffic will be heavy on main and secondary roads, emphasizing the need to adhere to safe driving behaviors, most notably not changing lanes suddenly, avoiding high speeds, and maintaining sufficient safety distances between vehicles.

It indicated that traffic personnel had been deployed early in the morning at intersections and traffic lights to regulate traffic flow and ensure its smoothness, calling on citizens to cooperate with traffic officers as this plays a pivotal role in enhancing traffic safety.
