Khaberni - The Local Administration Minister, Engineer Walid Al-Masri, inspected today, Saturday, during a field tour in several municipalities of the Theban district in Madaba Governorate, including the municipalities of Lub and Maliha, Jabal Bani Hamida, and Theban, aiming to follow up on the workflow and observe the financial, managerial, and service aspects there.
During the tour, the minister held meetings with the heads of the municipal committees, where he listened to a briefing on the municipal work reality, the implemented programs and projects, as well as the challenges facing the municipalities and the needs required to enhance their performance and improve their services.
Al-Masri also toured several areas under the municipalities to monitor the condition of the infrastructure, developmental and service projects, and to check on the road maintenance works and drainage networks for rainwater and valley cleaning, and the level of overall cleanliness.
The minister emphasized the need to elevate the level of municipal services and enhance the efficiency of the administrative and technical staff, contributing to improving the municipal work environment and meeting the citizens’ needs.
