Khaberni - Jordan announced that it is ready, as is its custom and with all its institutions, to increase the flow of relief aid to the Gaza Strip after the Israeli war of extermination and starvation began to put down its burdens, and that this aid is ready to be launched via the road from Amman to Gaza.
The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, and their partners have not stopped sending relief, medical, and food aid for two full years to more than two million unarmed civilians in the Strip; to support their resilience against the Israeli occupation, with all terrestrial and aerial routes and relief bridges with helicopters, and even relief on the ground in the Strip by providing field hospitals, bakeries, and water.
The Secretary-General of the organization, Dr. Hussein al-Shibli said, that the organization's warehouses are filled with all kinds of aid waiting to be dispatched to the sector regularly, and the pace of sending aid will increase with the start of removing all obstacles and hindrances that had stood in its way over the past two years.
He added that the organization's warehouses are teeming with aid amounting to more than 25,000 tons of basic food materials and large quantities of medical supplies and essentials, with 3,000 trucks preparing to launch towards the cities of the sector to end the residents' suffering with starvation and the shortage of these materials.
He noted that the organization, under royal directives and with absolute support, has placed all its preparations methodically and institutionally to increase the pace of transporting aid to the Gaza Strip regularly and in full coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the organizations operating in the Gaza Strip. They will transfer everything they can very quickly to reach all cities of the Strip and distribute the food aid urgently.
Shibli expressed his hope that all obstacles that could delay the aid's arrival via terrestrial routes, which were previously in place, and that removing these obstacles will contribute to the aid arriving in less time and in large quantities.
Shibli affirmed that Jordan will continue its steadfast and firm humanitarian role towards the brethren in Palestine, stemming from its moral and humanitarian commitment, and embodying the vision of the Hashemite leadership in supporting just causes, and that Jordan has been and will always remain the humanitarian safety valve for the people of Gaza, and its position has not and will not change, having worked during the last two years as part of an integrated national effort, embodying the real cohesion between the state institutions under Hashemite leadership, to be the bridge connecting the Jordanian will of good and the needs of the Palestinian human under the most difficult conditions.
He pointed out that the organization, as the sole officially authorized entity for collecting donations and executing relief operations, continues to coordinate with its partners from international and UN organizations to ensure the sustainability of humanitarian aid and increase the pace of sending it, to meet the increasing amount of needs within the sector, reaffirming that the Jordanian efforts represent a complete system of generosity and a firm humanitarian stance.
He said that the organization has so far managed to run 201 relief convoys through terrestrial ports, which included a total of 8,664 trucks loaded with food, medical, and shelter materials, benefiting hundreds of thousands of families in different areas of the Strip.
He noted that 53 relief planes were dispatched in cooperation with the Royal Air Force via El Arish Airport, carrying more than 530 tons of essential materials and urgent needs for the people of Gaza, and 564 direct aerial drops were carried out inside the Strip, in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Royal Air Force, involving a number of brotherly and friendly countries, to ensure the delivery of aid to besieged and hard-to-reach areas.
The dropping operations included the use of 102 helicopters, performing precise drops of medical and food aid, specifically directed at hospitals and disaster-ridden areas, in an emergency humanitarian response that reflects Jordan's unwavering commitment to the Palestinian people.
The organization launched a series of qualitative humanitarian projects in cooperation with local and international institutions, most notably the Jordanian campaign and the Jordanian Islamic Advocacy Zakat Committee. These projects covered vital areas directly affecting the lives of the residents amidst the difficult humanitarian conditions the sector is experiencing.
The organization implemented the "Water Quenching" project in the Gaza Strip, which provided over 21,000 liters of drinkable water to locals across different provinces of the Strip, and launched the hot meals project which provided close to one and a half million meals throughout Gaza, assisting in meeting the daily needs of the residents.
Flour and bakery projects launched by the organization provided bread to affected families, and the sacrificial project benefitted approximately 4,990 beneficiaries inside the Strip, supporting displaced families, distributing tents, and shelter supplies to families affected by the destruction of their homes.
The organization signed 177 agreements and commitments to provide humanitarian aid in cooperation with local and international partners, reflecting the growing trust in Jordan's humanitarian role and its ability to coordinate and intervene effectively. The total amount of aid entered by the organization into the Gaza Strip exceeded 123,996 tons of various relief materials, benefiting hundreds of thousands of individuals and families, through terrestrial and airborne routes, within the framework of integrated humanitarian projects responding to urgent needs within the sector.
The numbers from the Jordanian Armed Forces indicate that, before the ceasefire, the field hospitals were able to welcome nearly one million visitors to field hospitals present with the Gazans on the ground.
Jordan has performed 564 aerial drops, of which 164 were carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces, and 400 drops were carried out by brotherly and friendly nations. Jordan established two field hospitals in the Gaza Strip: the Jordanian Field Hospital/83 in the northern part of the Strip, which started operating on October 7, 2023, and was moved to the south of the Strip on September 22, 2025; and the Jordanian Field Hospital in southern Gaza/7 in the southern part of the Strip, which began providing services on November 20, 2023.
