Khaberni - The Saudi drama makers have started a new stage by launching the series "Banat Al-Bomb," which serves as an extension of the famous Gulf comedy series "Shabab Al-Bomb," but from a different angle focusing on the experiences of girls in Saudi society, within a dramatic framework that combines social comedy and real-life situations.
The series drew its concept from the youthful atmosphere provided by "Shabab Al-Bomb" over 13 seasons, but this time it highlights the female side, through female characters who face life's challenges in a light-hearted manner and situations close to the reality of young Saudi women.
The work was produced by Rotana Khaleeji channel, while it is exclusively shown on the STC TV platform starting from October 15, 2025.
Saudi actor Faisal Al-Essa, one of the prominent faces of "Shabab Al-Bomb," participated in supporting the project through his appearance in the teaser advertisement, and confirmed in a post on the "X" platform that the new work is the fruit of an idea that started from the original series, which achieved widespread popularity across the Gulf.
He added that the experience aims to present a renewed spirit that maintains the youthfulness and opens up a larger space for girls' stories.
The series stars a group of young female faces, including Hilda Yasin, Maryam Abdulrahman, Najood Ahmed, and Shurooq Salem, along with special appearances by some stars of "Shabab Al-Bomb" including Mashari Al-Harbi and Faisal Al-Essa.
The direction is led by Samir Aref, who previously collaborated with the team in parts of the original series, while the script was written by Abdullah Al-Walidi, Maryam Abdulrahman, and Abdullah Al-Essa.
It is worth mentioning that with the announcement of "Banat Al-Bomb," it was also confirmed that "Shabab Al-Bomb" would continue with its fourteenth season in Ramadan 2026, reflecting the team's desire to expand the world of the series to extend its presentation in different seasons throughout the year.
