Khaberni - The mayor of Khan Yunis announced at a press conference that 85% of the province is destroyed.
He added that about 400,000 tons of rubble need to be removed from the city streets, confirming that 300 kilometers of the water networks are destroyed.
He continued that 75% of the city's sewage network is destroyed, adding that the municipality has to deal with more than 350,000 tons of waste in Khan Yunis.
He said that the municipality has 9 teams working on opening roads but they need diesel fuel to complete the task, emphasizing the need for modern equipment to handle the rubble.
He also added that the municipality needs power generators to replace the destroyed and worn-out generators.
