Khaberni - Sponsored by HRH Princess Dina Mired, Enrouel Club Amman held a special event on the occasion of Pink October to raise awareness of breast cancer, focusing on supporting the Mariam Foundation for Cancer Fight in Palestine and highlighting its role in caring for Palestinian patients.
Her Royal Highness emphasized the importance of enhancing regional cooperation in supporting cancer patients in her speech, praised the efforts of the Mariam Foundation and its humanitarian role, and affirmed the integration with the efforts of the Al Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan in spreading awareness and expanding treatment opportunities. She also pointed to the importance of continuing solidarity with the Palestinian people who are facing difficult humanitarian conditions amid the war on Gaza and the ongoing Israeli assaults.
Mr. Mohammed Hamed, the founder and general manager of the Mariam Foundation, presented a display that covered the journey of the foundation and its programs in providing medical care and psychological support to cancer patients in Palestine. The event witnessed significant interaction from the club members who expressed their deep appreciation for the foundation's humanitarian mission and their readiness to contribute to its support.
The participating ladies also made symbolic pink candles during the day in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in an atmosphere of creativity and human solidarity.
The event is organized by Enrouel Club Amman, which was established in 1971 and aims to foster bonds of friendship among women in society, raise awareness about community issues, and contribute to supporting humanity through holding events and charitable initiatives.
