Khaberni - The Eastern Military Area foiled, at dawn today on Saturday on its front and within its area of responsibility, two attempts to smuggle a large quantity of drugs loaded with balloons directed by primitive devices. The response involved engaging and bringing down the balloons and their cargo within Jordanian territory after detecting them at two different sites by the Border Guard forces in coordination with the security agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The seized items were turned over to the competent authorities for necessary proceedings.
